Position Overview:

DirectPath Recruiting Services is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join a dynamic electronics service and repair environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in complex, component-level electronic repairs and diagnostics using industry-standard test equipment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, technical documentation, and collaboration with both engineering and training teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and document test and repair procedures for both existing and newly received electronic products.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electronic components using RF test stations, oscilloscopes, and calibration tools.
• Support fellow technicians with complex repair issues and technical challenges.
• Train and mentor new technicians and testing personnel.
• Research and analyze testing and repair specifications for unfamiliar products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve repair processes and product performance.
• Conduct routine electronic repairs while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Recommend process improvements to minimize unrepairable product instances.
• Flexibility to support multiple locations or facilities as needed.

Required Tools & Equipment:

• RF Test Stations
• Oscilloscopes (O-Scopes)
• Electronic calibration and measurement tools
• Soldering equipment
• Computers and diagnostic software

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in electronics or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience
• OR
• High school diploma and 6+ years of hands-on experience in electronics repair and diagnostics

Mandatory Training & Certifications:

• Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Safety
• Hazard Communication (HAZCOM)
• Soldering techniques and best practices
• Customer-specific technical training (as required)
