Job summary

Vector Security in Jackson, TN is hiring an Electronic Systems Technician to install and service residential and small to mid-sized commercial systems. You will handle basic wiring, panel programming, system setup, and on-site customer explanations.

You will train and mentor junior technicians, ensure quality work, and maintain professionalism with customers and peers. The role requires HS diploma and 1–3 years of industry experience, plus a valid driver's license and certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner to provide superior customer service.
• Must understand technical functionality of various systems learned online or via hands-on instruction.

Responsibilities

• Install/service residential systems and/or small to mid-sized commercial accounts with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot basic systems of assigned types and perform system set-up and wiring as required.
• Complete installations and/or servicing while checking for errors in work and paperwork.
• Provide clear explanations of systems to customers and answer questions.
• Train and mentor Entry-Level technicians on shared job sites and correct errors.

Summary:

As an Electronic Systems Technician you will be responsible for the i nstallation and/or servicing of residential systems and small to mid-sized commercial accounts . What You’ll Do:

• Install/service residential systems and/or small to mid-sized commercial accounts:
  • Accurately c omplete installations and/or servicing with frequent to minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshoot basic systems of assigned types.
  • Utilize skills inbasic wiring,panel programming,andsystem set-up.
  • Check for, and correct, any errors in work and paperwork.
  • Display professionalism when interacting with and communicating with peers,manager, and customers.
• Train and mentor technicians:
  • Review work ofEntryLevel technicianson shared jobsiteand provide training to correct any errors.

What You’ll Need:

• HS diploma or equivalent -required.
• 1 - 3 years of industry experience - preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history.
• Completion of minimum training/certification checklist required per Technician Career Path.
