Job summary

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Electronic Security System Technician to perform and support maintenance of Access Control, Intrusion, and Video Management systems at a federal facility in Washington, DC.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with ESS installations, certification readiness for Software House C*CURE 9000, and the ability to read blueprints and work independently while meeting strict deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of directly relevant experience in security systems installation.
Experience with access control and intrusion detection systems.
Working knowledge of ESS platforms: Software House C*CURE 9000, Bosch VMS, Bosch Intrusion System.

Responsibilities

Perform work on Access Controls (card readers, locks, biometric devices).
Perform work on Intrusion Systems and perimeter controls.
Perform work on Video Management Systems (Bosch, Milestone, Axis).
Terminate and dismantle devices and reconstruct equipment as required.
Analyze blueprints/building plans to confirm wiring and connections.
Test systems and verify signals; assist teammates remotely as needed.
Manage tools, inventory, and material needs; meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
