Job summary

Versar Global Solutions in Washington, DC is seeking an Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Technician for maintenance and installation of security systems in federal facilities. The role focuses on Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCV systems, with hands-on work on Site and in the field.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Software House C*CURE 9000, Bosch VMS, and Bosch Intrusion, plus the ability to read blueprints and coordinate with team members to ensure secure, compliant

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with security systems installation and maintenance.
Working knowledge of ESS platforms and related systems.

Responsibilities

Perform work on Access Controls, including card readers and locks.
Work on Intrusion Systems and Perimeter controls.
Work on Video Management Systems (Bosch, Milestone, AXIS).
Terminate and dismantle devices and reconstruct equipment as needed.
Read blueprints/building plans to verify wiring placement and connections.
Conduct system testing and signal verification.
Assist teammates with troubleshooting via phone or remote support.
Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
