Job summary

Versar Global Solutions seeks self-motivated Electronic Security System (ESS) Technicians to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on security systems. You will support Access Control, Intrusion, and CCV, integrating these systems to monitor facilities and protect personnel in federal buildings and controlled spaces.

The role requires 18+ years of age, 5+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain CCURE 9000 certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in security systems installation.
• Experience with access control systems and intrusion detection systems.
• Ability to obtain CCURE 9000 certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read blueprints and building plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on Access Controls: readers, locks, and biometric devices.
• Work on Intrusion Systems and perimeter controls.
• Work on Video Management Systems (Bosch, Milestone, AXIS).
• Terminate and dismantle devices and reconstruct equipment as required.
• Analyze blueprints to confirm wiring and connection plans room-by-room.
