Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking an installer to manage site work and install security solutions for new and existing clients. You will coordinate with Kastle teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure proper testing and commissioning of systems.

The role requires hands-on tool use, climbing, lifting up to 75 pounds, and travel to client sites. A valid driver's license and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to use metering devices.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift tools up to 75 pounds.
• Color vision sufficient to distinguish colors.
• Strong communication with customers and co-workers.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; ability to follow procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime, weeknights, and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record for travel.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures installations meet Kastle's quality standards and timelines.
• Provides feedback on barriers to timely project execution.
• Documents completed work accurately.
• Maintains company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

This position will focus on the site management and installation of security solutions for new and existing clients while working alongside internal teams, external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
• Provides feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.
• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.
• Maintains assigned company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.
• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.
• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to install and test equipment.
• Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment not to exceed seventy‑five pounds.
• Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Must be able to interface and communicate with customers and co‑workers in a clear and professional manner.
• Candidate must be able to use MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Ability to follow the installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures outlined by i2G.
• Must be available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends when necessary.
• Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
