Job summary

i2G Systems seeks an on-site Technician to install, test, and support security systems for new and existing clients. You will coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely, quality deployments and accurate documentation of work performed.

You must have hands-on tool experience, ability to lift, climb, and travel as needed, and strong communication skills to engage with customers and coworkers professionally. Knowledge of i2G’s procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hand and power tools.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must distinguish colors.
• Strong communication with customers and co-workers.
• Willing to work overtime, weeknights, and weekends.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
• Provides feedback and information to identify potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.
• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.
• Maintains assigned company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.
• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.
• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to install and test equipment.
• Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures.
