Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking an Installer to manage site deployment of CCTV, access control, and security systems for new and existing clients. You will work with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to ensure on-schedule installation, rigorous testing, and proper documentation.

The role requires hands-on tool use, ability to handle ladders, and strong communication with customers. Occasional overtime, travel, and staying current with i2G procedures are expected.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment not to exceed seventy‑five pounds.
• Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Must be able to interface and communicate with customers and co‑workers in a clear and professional manner.
• Candidate must be able to use MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Ability to follow the installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures outlined by i2G.
• Must be available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends when necessary.
• Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
• Provides feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.
• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.
• Maintains assigned company‑managed vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.
• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.
• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to install and test equipment.
• Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures.
