Job summary

Clermont County, Ohio - Government is seeking a Reporting Bond Officer, a full-time, on-site role located in Batavia, OH. The position monitors offenders on reporting bond and electronically monitored house arrest, and provides information to the Court.

Under the Coordinator of Special Services, you will conduct home, field and work visits, assess risks, coordinate services with the court and other agencies, and perform PSI investigations and related administrative duties.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in corrections, psychology, sociology or criminal justice related fields.
• Experience in criminal justice, law enforcement or surveillance; OPATA training preferred.
• Knowledge of basic office practices; ability to analyze data and learn department software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise misdemeanor offenders on reporting bond or electronically monitored house arrest; provide information to the Court.
• Meet offenders as needed; perform home, field and work visits; track compliance with program rules.
• Identify participant risks and coordinate services with the court, criminal justice agencies and the local facility.
• Perform PSI investigations, mitigation reports, and other administrative duties as assigned.
