Job summary

The City of Indianapolis and Marion County is seeking a Community Corrections EM Clerk to process referrals and releases for Electronic Monitoring. You will research court orders, calculate credit time, print and sign documents, and manage risk assessments and fees.

This role requires handling confidential data and coordinating with courts, vendors, and CM staff. The position operates in a 24/7 Client Service Center on 2nd/3rd shifts, with responsibilities for monitoring alarms and documenting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass State IRAS certification within six months.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals and releases to EM programs.
• Research court orders and calculate credit time.
• Monitor EM clients 24/7 and document interactions.
• Testify in court regarding violations as needed.
• Enter data into the case management system and maintain confidentiality.
