Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, IT, or related field with 1+ year experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Dispatcher, Electronic Monitoring Systems and CAD certifications within 6 months.
• Ability to obtain IDACS/NCIC Full Operator Certification within 6 months.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Experience with Spillman and electronic monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor up to 500 offenders on the Home Detention Program.
• Investigate electronic monitoring alerts from RF and GPS.
• Dispatch law enforcement for program violations using CAD.
• Perform background investigations for eligibility of participants.
• Document offender data and schedules in the monitoring system.
• Install and maintain electronic monitoring equipment.
• Respond to inquiries and instruct offenders on equipment use.
• Coordinate responses to escapes and disturbances.
• Enter offender demographics and update records in databases.
• Operate and document various monitoring and CAD software.
