Baltimore County is seeking an Electronics Installer in Towson to install two-way radios, mobile computers, antennas, and related equipment in county vehicles.
Under supervision, you will conduct testing, maintenance, and documentation of work, with opportunities to lead junior technicians. Some travel, overtime, and irregular hours may be required as part of the role.
Regular Schedule: 39 hours per week

Applicants will be qualified based on an evaluation of their training and experience, as stated on their application, which includes answers to the supplemental questions. Applicants must state the dates and duties of past and present experience clearly and completely for evaluation purposes.Persons appointed to this classification will work on a fixed shift basis, there may be times that require an adjustment of work hours or overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays. Some duties require travel between work sites and exposure to adverse weather conditions.
Incumbents must be of good moral character and emotionally stable.
The work of this classification entails the performance of physical activities including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying heavy objects, and the operation of hand and power tools and shop equipment.
