The Iowa Department of Correction is seeking an Electronic Engineer Technician at the Anamosa State Penitentiary. This role involves maintaining electronic systems within the facility, including staff telephone and voicemail systems, two-way radio and pager systems, computer systems, inmate telephone and television systems, security gates and locks, and security cameras.
The position's hours are from 6:45 am to 2:45 pm, with weekends and holidays off.
Completion of two years of formal training in electronic engineering technology and three years of relevant technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling five years.
