Position Overview

The Iowa Department of Correction is seeking an Electronic Engineer Technician at the Anamosa State Penitentiary. This role involves maintaining electronic systems within the facility, including staff telephone and voicemail systems, two-way radio and pager systems, computer systems, inmate telephone and television systems, security gates and locks, and security cameras.

Work Schedule

The position's hours are from 6:45 am to 2:45 pm, with weekends and holidays off.

Responsibilities

1. Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and upgrades on electronic systems.
2. Handle various tasks across different systems involved in the facility's operation.

Qualifications
