Job summary

Iescorp, located in Solon, Ohio, seeks a dependable Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble mechanical and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly instructions to produce quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reading instructions, interpreting drawings, wiring subassemblies, installing components, using calipers, and ensuring quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Motivation to learn; previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow detailed procedures.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic measuring instruments.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Soldering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic components according to work instructions, blueprints, bills of materials, and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and production documentation.
• Use hand tools and power tools including screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, torque tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Assemble electrical and electronic systems, subassemblies, wiring, and support structures.
• Install and secure components using screws, bolts, rivets, epoxy, hot glue, and other fastening methods.
• Position, align, and fasten parts to complete assemblies.
• Use measuring equipment such as calipers and torque meters to verify product quality.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Label, mark, and tag products and components for identification and inventory tracking.
• Maintain accurate production records and completed part counts.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies, ESD procedures, and production guidelines.
