Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Electronic Assembler to work at our local Customer site in Plainview, NY. You will assemble electronic components and circuit boards, perform soldering, read schematics, and ensure quality through inspection and testing. Weekly pay and a starting rate of $20–$25 per hour are offered.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus experience in electronics assembly and familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards. Aspire Academy for upskilling is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in electronic assembly with strong soldering, wiring, and component assembly skills.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and circuit boards using schematics, blueprints, technical diagrams, and work instructions.
• Perform surface mount, through-hole, and hand soldering; connect wires, terminals, and connectors according to specifications.
• Inspect and functionally test assembled units while documenting production totals, assembly records, test results, and errors.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment while following ESD, safety, and quality procedures.
