Job summary

Indotronix seeks an Electronics Assembler 2 for an onsite position in Buffalo, NY. You will assemble electronic components per drawings and job aids, including fine-pitch soldering and circuit card assembly, within aerospace/defense applications.

The role requires 2 years of assembly or an associate degree in electronics, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, and the ability to work 2nd shift (4:00 PM–12:30 AM) on a 5x8 schedule. This is a contract role with W2 employment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of assembly or electronics experience; or an associate degree in electronics or technical discipline.
• Soldering experience.
• Experience with manufacturing/assembly tasks in a metric-based work environment.
• Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds from one location to another.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• IPC-610 and/or J-STD 001 certification preferred.
• Ability to solder at a Class 2 level.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components using drawings, diagrams, and job aids to meet customer requirements.
• Perform processes including fine-pitch soldering, BGA rework and repair, microelectronics assembly, and electromechanical assembly.
• Inspect work for workmanship and compliance; identify and help resolve nonconformances, including rework and repair.
• Record production data accurately in travelers, shop floor systems, and quality records.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to clarify build instructions and improve processes.
• Follow safety, ESD, FOD, and cleanliness guidelines to maintain a safe work area.
• Operate basic production equipment safely (soldering stations, crimp tools, microscopes, ovens).
