Job summary

Randstad USA in the Town of Islip, NY area is seeking an Electronic Assembler to join our electronics manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable handling small electronic components and hand tools, with a focus on quality and safety.

You will assemble boards and wiring, read work orders and schematics, perform soldering and testing, and inspect finished products. The role offers first shift, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, no degree required, with a comprehensive

Qualifications

2 years experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing preferred.
Soldering and wire assembly experience a plus.
Ability to read basic schematics and wiring diagrams.
Comfortable using hand tools and small power tools.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, wiring, and cable assemblies per work instructions and specifications.
Read and follow assembly instructions, work orders, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Perform soldering, wire assembly, and other electronic assembly tasks.
Use hand tools, small power tools, and inspection equipment to complete assemblies.
Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and proper workmanship.
Identify and report assembly issues or defects and assist with basic troubleshooting.
Follow ESD handling procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Follow company safety, quality, and production procedures.
