NANOSCIENCE INSTRUMENTS INC is seeking an outgoing Application Scientist to support electron microscopy solutions, including SEM/EDS, ion milling, and software-driven automation. You will demonstrate capabilities to customers and educate them on EM product uses.

The role emphasizes Python-based automation and scripting, collaborating with account managers, attending conferences, and providing post-sales support, training, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency with Scanning Electron Microscopy, EDS/EDX and Python.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to travel 30-50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support through demonstrations, consultations and sample evaluations.
• Develop automated workflows and optimize customer solutions.
• Present at conferences, trade shows and workshops to represent the company.
• Installations and customer training on instrument operation and concepts.
• Post-sales support including workflow optimization and troubleshooting.
• Build long-term customer relationships with ongoing engagement.
