Job summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific’s NanoPort team in Hillsboro, OR, seeks Application Scientists to train and support customers, perform instrument demonstrations, and develop workflow solutions. You will travel within the territory to customer sites, contribute to manuals and publications, and advance applications knowledge.

Qualifications
- Advanced degree in area relevant for the supported instrumentation and application.
- Experience with the instrumentation in academia or industry.
- Willingness to travel 40–50% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Perform product and workflow demonstrations, training, and data processing based on customer needs.
- Provide application support for new product developments and contribute to manuals and notes.
- Support customers to obtain optimal results with instruments in a timely manner.
- Deliver training and workshops and communicate results to customers and internal teams.
- Travel to customer locations to install, demonstrate, and validate applications.
