We are seeking an experienced electromechanical technologist to join our team and support photovoltaic (PV) power systems research. We are looking for candidates with experience in mechanical assembly, common hand tools, and electrical and electronics work. The work environment requires the ability to lift and manually position large, bulky test devices onto characterization tools, either individually or as part of a team. The position also requires periodic work outdoors in all seasons for most of the workday. Familiarity with electrical lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), forklift operations, and use of machine shop equipment is desired.
On any given day, you may be called on to:
The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L security clearance or equivalent DoD Secret security clearance.
A pre-employment drug screening and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verification is required.
