Job summary

JGMS Government Services LLC (JGMS-GS) seeks an experienced electromechanical technologist to support PV power systems research. The role involves mechanical assembly, hand tools, and electrical work in lab and field settings.

You will operate indoor PV characterization tools, assist outdoor installations, monitor experiments, and prepare reports. Candidates need an associate degree and 3 years of relevant experience; DOE clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or engineering required.
• 3 years of related experience in a lab or workshop.
• Experience with test setup, equipment operation and data collection.
• Demonstrated DAS experience and lab instrumentation.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DOE L-level clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate indoor PV characterization tools.
• Support outdoor PV system installation and maintenance.
• Work in laboratory and outdoor settings.
• Monitor experiments and record observations.
• Prepare information for scientific reports and publications.
• Must be able to work onsite.
