The Electromechanical Technician at Becton, Dickinson, and Company performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of production equipment and facility systems on a night shift. You will support continuous improvement projects with Controls Coordinators and Process Engineers, ensuring safety, quality, and BD policies are followed.

You will diagnose and repair PLCs, maintain robotics systems, and update Quality System documentation while training operators and leading technical support.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Electromechanical Technology or related technical field required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, controls systems, and industrial automation.
• Experience with robotics and machine vision systems.

Responsabilidades

• Support process improvements involving mechanical, electrical, controls programming, robotics, and machine vision technologies.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment incl. motors, drives, PLCs.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs and control systems to ensure uptime.
• Maintain robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot industrial networks and communication protocols.
• Conduct maintenance, calibration, and validation per standards.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and document updates.
