Job summary

Terzo Enterprises is a logistics company specializing in the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets. The role involves hands-on maintenance of warehouse equipment in our Atlanta, GA facility, with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will set up and perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and repair equipment ranging from low DC to 480V AC circuits. LOTO and OSHA guidelines apply daily.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting, welding, machining, metal fabrication, and plumbing.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance and repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment from low DC to 480V AC circuits.
• Maintain belts, hoses, pipes; inspect and replace as needed.
• Operate and ensure safe forklift and yard equipment.
• Maintain daily repair logs and clean work area.
• Follow OSHA and MSDS safety standards.

• 10:45 pm – 7:15 am

What will you do?

Under general supervision, set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install a range of equipment from low DC voltage to 120v – 480v AC high voltage circuits, motor controls, control logic, make minor program changes on VFDs, and troubleshoot by power wiring.
• Must be able to troubleshoot 3-phase motors and gearboxes. Understanding about sprockets and chains.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and ensure the safe operational status of all forklifts and yard hostlers.
• Must provide the necessary tools and instruments to independently perform any tasks at hand.
• Perform all repairs on belt conveyors, roller conveyors, turn tables, and paint sprayers both airless and diaphragm pumps; inspect/replace belts, hoses, and pipes as needed and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain a daily work log on repairs on all equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, overall cleanliness, and organization of the maintenance cage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Understand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause.
• Assist in the inspection and upkeep of machinery and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures.
• Check for proper guarding of all machinery in departments daily.
• Look for any visible wear or defects on machinery daily.
• Check for proper oil level and lubrication of all machines.
• Maintain all machinery and repair machinery promptly.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards, ensuring maintenance staff do the same.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures, ensuring maintenance staff do the same.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old

• Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and may occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
