Job summary

Terzo Enterprises Incorporated is hosting a job fair at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Fairburn, GA. It seeks a skilled maintenance mechanic to support production through preventive maintenance and repair of pallet-handling equipment.

Applicants should demonstrate troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with experience in conveyors, motors, and safety practices such as LOTO and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting knowledge, welding, machining, metal fabrication, and plumbing.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install a range of equipment from low DC voltage to high voltage circuits.
• Must be able to troubleshoot 3-phase motors and gearboxes, and ensure safe operation of forklifts and yard hostlers.
• Carry out preventive maintenance for all machines and equipment, and maintain a daily repair log.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to OSHA and MSDS standards.

What will you do?

Under general supervision, set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install a range of equipment from low DC voltage to 120v – 480v AC high voltage circuits, motor controls, control logic, make minor program changes on VFDs, and troubleshoot by power wiring.
• Must be able to troubleshoot 3-phase motors and gearboxes. Understanding about sprockets and chains.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and ensure the safe operational status of all forklifts and yard hostlers.
• Must provide the necessary tools and instruments to independently perform any tasks at hand.
• Perform all repairs on belt conveyors, roller conveyors, turn tables, and paint sprayers both airless and diaphragm pumps, Inspect/replace belts, hoses, and pipes as needed and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
• Must maintain a daily work log on repairs on all equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, overall cleanliness, and organization of the maintenance cage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Understand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause.
• Assist in the inspection and upkeep of machinery and equipment
• Adhering to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures.
• Checking for proper guarding of all machinery in departments daily.
• Look for any visible wear or defects on machinery daily.
• Checking for proper oil level & proper lubrication of all machines.
• Maintaining all machinery and repairing machinery promptly. Must provide the necessary tools and instruments to independently perform any tasks at hand.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards, making sure maintenance staff does the same.
• Adhering to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures, making sure maintenance staff does the same.
