Job summary

Terzo Enterprises Incorporated is seeking a maintenance technician for the Albany, GA facility. You will set up, adjust, and perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair a wide range of pallet-related equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, repairing conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes, logging repairs daily, and upholding OSHA/MSDS standards. Must lift up to 50–75 lbs and work nights.

Qualifications

• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting knowledge.
• Welding, machining, metal fabrication, and plumbing skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and manuals.
• Diagnose and repair a range of equipment from low DC to high voltage circuits and motor controls.
• Maintain safe operation of forklifts, conveyors, pumps, and other warehouse power equipment.
• Keep daily repair logs and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Monday- Friday

9 pm -5 am

What will you do?

Under general supervision, set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install a range of equipment from low DC voltage to 120v – 480v AC high voltage circuits, motor controls, control logic, make minor program changes on VFDs, and troubleshoot by power wiring.
• Must be able to troubleshoot 3-phase motors and gearboxes. Understanding about sprockets and chains.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and ensure the safe operational status of all forklifts and yard hostlers.
• Must provide the necessary tools and instruments to independently perform any tasks at hand.
• Perform all repairs on belt conveyors, roller conveyors, turn tables, and paint sprayers both airless and diaphragm pumps, Inspect/replace belts, hoses, and pipes as needed and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
• Must maintain a daily work log on repairs on all equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, overall cleanliness, and organization of the maintenance cage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Understand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause.
• Assist in the inspection and upkeep of machinery and equipment
• Adhering to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures.
• Checking for proper guarding of all machinery in departments daily.
• Look for any visible wear or defects on machinery daily.
• Checking for proper oil level & proper lubrication of all machines.
• Maintaining all machinery and repairing machinery promptly. Must provide the necessary tools and instruments to independently perform any tasks at hand.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards, making sure maintenance staff does the same.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures, making sure maintenance staff does the same.

Requirements

• must be 18+ years old
• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting knowledge, welding, machining, metal fabrication, and plumbing.
• Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
