Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support a high-speed distillery and beverage facility in Hope Hull, AL. The role covers troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving electrical, controls, and electromechanical systems across the plant.

The position is for 2nd or 3rd shift, with responsibilities including PM/PdM, RCA, safety, and continuous improvement. SAP/CMMS documented maintenance and collaboration with multiple teams are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, brewery, distillery, or similar setting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, control circuits, motors, VFDs, PLCs, and automated equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose failures using schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and diagnostic tools.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to breakdowns.
• Install, commission, start up, and validate new equipment and capital projects.
• Document work orders and maintenance history in SAP/CMMS.
• Conduct RCA, 5 Whys, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to improve asset performance.
• Participate in daily production meetings and reliability reviews.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and lockout/tagout procedures; maintain 5S workspace.
