Sandhills Community College in North Carolina is seeking an Electromechanical Systems Instructor to deliver courses integrating mechanical, electrical, and automation concepts. The role supports the CET program's Electromechanical Systems pathway and related hardware/software topics.

The instructor will develop curricula, lead lab activities, engage with local industry, and contribute to workforce-aligned program offerings while maintaining student records and assessments.

Formación

• Master's degree in Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environments.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and basic automation processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively teach and engage a diverse student population.

Responsabilidades

• Teach electromechanical systems courses, including machine processes, electrical systems, equipment maintenance and controls, PLCs, and automation.
• Maintain instructional excellence through organization, delivery, and assessment.
• Develop and update course materials reflecting current industry standards and practices.
• Utilize instructional technologies and hands-on lab activities to support student learning.
• Maintain accurate and timely student records.
• Support development and implementation of the Electromechanical Systems pathway within the CET program.
• Collaborate with industry partners to ensure program alignment with workforce needs.
