Job summary

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking an Industrial Systems Technology Instructor for a 10-month appointment in Fayetteville, NC. You will teach in state-of-the-art labs, including IT/OT and industrial 3D printing labs, and guide students toward hands-on proficiency in electrical, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and automation controls.

The role emphasizes classroom and lab instruction, curriculum alignment, and use of current instructional technologies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Systems Technology or a related degree.
• Three or more years of manufacturing/industrial experience.
• On-line teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Industrial Systems Technology according to the program curriculum.
• Prepare and submit syllabi and outlines for assigned sections.
• Maintain labs and classroom environments conducive to student learning.
• Participate in program assessment and curriculum improvement.
• Provide advisement and maintain office hours.
