Job summary

Plasma-Therm LLC, a leading provider of advanced processing equipment for semiconductor manufacturing in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking an Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer. The role designs electrical and electromechanical products, coordinates documentation, and interfaces with vendors and software/mechanical teams to ensure integrated systems.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, at least 6 months experience, and the ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, major credit card for business travel, and passport.

Responsibilities

• Researches and analyzes data such as design proposal, specifications, and documentation to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Designs sub-systems such as primary power distribution, electrical/electronic controls, robotic control systems, RF power delivery, and electrical control interfaces.
• Plans, designs, and documents electrical and electromechanical sub-systems.
• Coordinates fabrication and testing activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design specifications.
• Works with existing vendors for development of specialized production parts and procedures.
• Works closely with software and mechanical developers to integrate systems operation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to Safety & Health, Quality and Environmental Process policies.
