Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Tech to maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment in our onsite production facilities. You will support operators and supervisors, troubleshoot electrical and control systems, and ensure food safety aligned with SQF, HACCP, and GMP.

Responsibilities include MV/VFD work, reading schematics, preventive maintenance, and training junior staff to uphold high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with SQF, HACCP, and GMP is preferred.
• Able to read electrical prints and schematics, and document changes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components on production equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals and electrical schematics; perform related computer tasks.
• Perform both uptime and downtime preventive maintenance per PM schedule.
• Install, wire and maintain relays, sensors, motors, and VFDs; troubleshoot control systems.
• Provide technical support to operators and supervisors on mechanical and electrical issues.
• Train new and junior employees within the department.
