Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Product Support) to act as the primary escalation point for complex field issues. You will lead root cause investigations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and provide advanced technical support for installations, upgrades, and new product introductions in the field.

You will also develop technical documentation, participate in product reviews, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electromechanical equipment (capital, medical, or military).
• Strong data analysis and root cause problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional investigations and communicate with customers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex field issues.
• Lead root cause investigations and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Provide advanced technical support for installations, upgrades, and new product introductions.
• Support reliability improvement initiatives and validate corrective actions.
• Create and maintain service manuals, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
• Travel to customer sites up to 30% for critical installations and troubleshooting.
