Job summary

Archaius Inc. is seeking a production/process engineer to improve repeatable build processes and review manufacturability with Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. You will support QA/QC across assemblies and conduct first article inspections, while guiding ECOs, BOM changes, and process performance.

The role requires hands‑on assembly experience, GD&T knowledge, and strong cross‑functional collaboration to drive reliable electromechanical production.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3–7 years in production or process engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical and basic electrical assembly, inspection and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis and mechanical drawings.
• Experience inspecting electrical assemblies, PCBs, or wiring in QA/verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve production processes for repeatable builds.
• Review manufacturability, tolerances, and assembly methods with engineering.
• Support QA/QC for mechanical and electrical assemblies, including in‑process checks.
• Conduct first article inspections and assess supplier capability for components.
• Create and maintain work instructions, guides, and inspection criteria.
• Implement ECOs and BOM changes and ensure build configuration accuracy.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis across systems.
• Review data trends (yield, defects, cycle time) to drive improvements.
• Advise on materials, adhesives, finishes, and process choices affecting performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams during pilots and transitions.
• Support Operations with workflows, equipment use, and safe practices.
