Job summary

DOC SERVICES, a field-based electromechanical service provider, is seeking qualified electromechanical Field Service Technicians. You will repair and maintain a range of equipment at customer sites, ensure safety compliance, document services, and manage parts and notifications.

You’ll travel to client locations and work independently to meet schedules. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of repair experience with strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, plus valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or equivalent training.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to equipment repair.
• Strong organization, detail orientation and self-motivation.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and insurance proof.
• Background check required.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to service calls within defined timeframes.
• Provide documentation via handheld device.
• Order parts and manage inventory as needed.
• Be reachable by phone for reactive service repairs.
• Travel to customer locations and perform on-site repairs.
• Educate customers and recommend solutions to prevent repeats.
