Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on a variety of electromechanical equipment in retail stores. You will work from home and respond to service calls as scheduled.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of repair experience, strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Know and understand safety regulations related to equipment repair.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; proof of insurance.
• Satisfactory background check; professional appearance and attitude.
• Written, verbal and electronic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and company safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Document all service work using handheld devices.
• Perform cost effective service and repairs while maintaining quality.
• Order correct parts and maintain inventory for quick access.
• Travel to and from customer locations; arrive on time with tools and safety equipment.
• Evaluate preventable service problems and make recommendations to customers.
• Other duties as needed.
