Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking an undergraduate intern in the Electromechanical Applications team (Electromechanical Control Department). The role is full-time and on-site for 10 weeks, focusing on testing, modeling, and analysis of electromechanical control systems for satellite and launch programs.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a mechanical or electrical engineering bachelor’s program with a 3.0+ GPA, junior standing, and the ability to obtain a US security

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• Available for a minimum 10 weeks full-time internship.
• Junior class standing and minimum GPA 3.0.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in testing, modeling, simulation, and analysis of electromechanical control systems.
• Attend technical reviews and contribute to lab resource development.
• Document design, development, and results of studies and experiments.
