Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is hiring a graduate-level Power Systems Engineering Intern for the Analog and Power Systems Department within the Electronics Engineering Subdivision. You will work full-time on-site at our El Segundo facility, applying your academic skills to satellite energy balance analyses under experienced mentors.

You’ll model power system behavior, learn spacecraft subsystem interactions, and develop reports documenting your work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Power Systems Engineering technical support.
  • Apply academic skills to satellite energy balance and launch energy depletion analyses under guidance.
  • Learn power subsystem interactions aboard spacecraft and launch vehicles.
  • Utilize or develop system-level modeling tools for hardware performance characterization.
  • Gain exposure to power electronics modeling, simulation, and testing in a lab.
  • Write clear, concise reports documenting work.
