Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in San Diego, CA is looking for an Associate Electromechanical Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team. You will work on diverse electro‑mechanical challenges and contribute to design, test, and documentation for multiple system variants.

This role requires a Bachelors degree in engineering with up to 2 years of experience, or a Masters with no experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related discipline; up to 2 years of experience, or Master's with no experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• Experience with CATIA V5, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or Capital.

Responsibilities

• Create and review engineering drawings and test reports for system variants.
• Generate parts lists and liaise with global supply chain.
• Maintain configuration and compliance with quality and security standards.
• Collaborate with electrical, RF, systems, software, drafting, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Develop technical solutions for moderate-scope problems.
