Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Principal or Sr. Principal Electromechanical Engineer to join our Aurora, CO team. You will design, integrate, and verify complex hardware, supporting deployments across shelters and external environments.

The role requires a strong background in hardware systems, with cross-functional teamwork, rigorous documentation, and occasional travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations. DoD clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field.
• Experience with hardware design and integration processes.
• Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance and SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on hardware design and integration, ensuring adherence to changing requirements.
• Create/review/update drawings; support equipment moves and rack/stack for shelter deployment.
• Participate in system-level testing and verification; document design changes and validation plans.
• Travel CONUS/OCONUS to support installation and field activities.
