Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences in Austin, TX is seeking a Production & Assembly Technician to join our hands-on manufacturing team. You will assemble and test analytical instrumentation components, including electrical panels, fiber-optic parts, and cabling, ensuring quality and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of hands-on experience, can read electrical schematics, use a multimeter, and troubleshoot completed assemblies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent hands-on technical experience in electrical/mechanical tech.
• Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Hands-on testing and troubleshooting electrical/electromechanical systems.
• Proficient with multimeters and 120VAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control panels, flow cells, fiber-optic cables per specs.
• Electrical wiring, cabling, component installation, and mechanical assembly.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Perform electrical and functional testing of components and assemblies.
• Test fiber-optic cables and approve products for shipment.
• Use multimeter for measurements and troubleshooting; ensure safety.
• Maintain production equipment and tools; document QC results.
• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures reliably.
