Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences in Austin, TX is hiring a Production & Assembly Technician to support assembly, testing, and quality of analytical instrumentation. You will work on electromechanical assemblies and read schematics, using multimeters and hand tools.

The role focuses on hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical/electromechanical equipment for industrial and energy applications, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a pay range of $24–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling and testing electrical/electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with testing completed assemblies and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble NIR analyzer control panels, flow cells, fiber‑optic cables, and other electromechanical products according to production procedures, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
• Perform electrical assembly, wiring, cabling, component installation, and mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform electrical acceptance testing and functional testing of components and completed assemblies.
