Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for a Production & Assembly Technician in Austin, TX. The role entails assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of NIR analyzer control panels, flow cells and related components per JP3 specifications.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of four years’ experience in electrical/mechanical/fluid transport systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read electrical schematics. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years’ experience assembly and testing of electrical/mechanical/fluid transport systems.
• Attention to detail with statistical and analytical thinking.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Follow production procedures and assemble NIR analyzer control panels and related products per JP3 specs.
• Run quality tests on fiber optic cables and approve for shipping.
• Perform electrical acceptance and optical testing of final assemblies.
• Create, maintain and archive QC documentation for production.
