Job summary

Double E is seeking an Assembly/Service Technician to safely assemble, test, and troubleshoot products per routings, drawings, and specifications. The role shares field service duties to support our installed base of equipment.

Position requires about 10-15% travel, including domestic overnight travel; international travel is a plus. You will train customers' employees on operation and maintenance, maintain a safe work environment, and collaborate with team members on startup projects.

Qualifications

Strong ability to comprehend Engineering drawings (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) and work instructions.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
Customer-facing experience required.

Responsibilities

Assemble products per routings, work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Test, evaluate, and document assembled products prior to shipment.
Troubleshoot installed products with customers via phone, computer, and in person.
Train customers' employees on operation and maintenance of products/systems.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Approximately 10-15% overnight travel required to support machine startups, maintenance, and training at customer locations.
