Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an Electromechanical Assembler in York, PA to assemble electro-mechanical systems and machinery. The role involves wiring components, reading schematics, and performing tests to ensure quality and performance.

Requires 3+ years in mechanical or electrical assembly, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. First shift, Monday–Friday, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade schooling preferred.
• 3+ years mechanical or electrical assembly in industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Experience with assembly of industrial machinery and automation equipment a plus.
• Familiarity with electrical wiring, control panels, sensors, motors, and pneumatic systems a plus.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and basic electrical test equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform varied physical tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical systems and machinery per drawings and blueprints.
• Assemble machine frames, subassemblies, and related equipment.
• Install and wire electrical components including sensors, relays, and motors.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues during assembly and testing.
• Perform quality inspections to verify proper operation.
• Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment safely.
• Assist with machine modifications and engineering change implementations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues.
