Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical systems and machinery per drawings and blueprints.
• Assemble machine frames, subassemblies, and related equipment.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues during assembly and testing.
• Perform quality inspections to verify proper operation.
• Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment safely.
• Assist with machine modifications and engineering change implementations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues.

Job Duties

• Assemble electro-mechanical systems and industrial machinery according to engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Perform mechanical assembly of machine frames, subassemblies, and related equipment.
• Install and wire electrical components including sensors, switches, relays, power supplies, control panels, and motors.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues during assembly and testing.
• Perform quality inspections to verify proper operation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with machine modifications, repairs, and engineering change implementations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or trade school training preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical or electrical assembly experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or drawings.
• Experience assembling industrial machinery, automation equipment, production equipment, or custom machinery a plus.
• Familiarity with electrical wiring, control panels, sensors, motors, and pneumatic systems a plus.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and basic electrical test equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, and working in various positions throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial.
• Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Electromechanical Assembler.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
