Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for the York, PA area on a direct-hire basis. The role involves assembling mechanical components using hand tools, interpreting drawings, and maintaining safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of mechanical/industrial assembly experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and forklift certification or the ability to obtain it. Overtime may be required to support production demands.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA-compliant safety standards in manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Operate forklifts and lift trucks up to 10 tons to move materials and equipment.
• Operate overhead cranes up to 30 tons to support production and material handling.
• Assemble and align mechanical components with tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Assist with startup, testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
