Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a manufacturing specialist for a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, in Fort Collins, CO. This onsite contract role runs for 3 months with pay range $20.00–$25.00 per hour, offering hands-on assembly of electromechanical, fluidic and optical components.

You will read schematics, use hand tools and test equipment, troubleshoot, and collaborate with engineering to improve procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude is essential, as is attention to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED. A 2-year technical degree is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience manufacturing high precision products.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Able to read schematics and mechanical drawings
• Proven troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable navigating multiple software applications
• Physical requirements - Standing, bending, reaching and handling bulky parts is common to the job.

Responsibilities

• Follow written work instructions to build electromechanical, fluidic, and optical assemblies.
• Work with hand tools, test equipment and computer software to build, test and troubleshoot.
• Work with the manufacturing team and engineering to improve procedures or designs to reduce assembly and test time.
• Producing high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Being part of a hands-on, creative, self-willed, self-motivated, flexible, and dynamic team.
• Maintains clean and organized work area that supports co-workers as well as safety, efficiency, quality and customer demands.
