Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to lead EW's manufacturing engineering team, drive process improvements, ensure high production quality, and support the development and implementation of new products.

The diverse responsibilities will require you to leverage your technical expertise as well as leadership skills to set objectives, build cross-functional teams, and drive rapid project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering, math, or hard science).
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
• 2+ years of leadership experience leading high-performing teams.
• Experience delivering electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
• Experience bringing up assembly operations for electromechanical assemblies.
• Proficient with ERP, CAD, PLM, and FRACAS software.
• US Person due to access to export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Manufacturing Engineers.
• Drive operational excellence with continuous improvement and Kaizen events.
• Partner with Product Quality Engineering to tackle RCCA burndowns.
• Define workflows with cross-functional teams for effective collaboration.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering for DFx and smooth NPI transitions.
• Own a portion of the manufacturing value chain for products.
• Develop process flows, breaking down assemblies into subassemblies.
• Contribute to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design.
