Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in complex mechanical assembly, tooling, and manufacturing equipment, including a basic understanding of machine controls preferred
• 1-3 Years Industrial or Manufacturing Leadership - Supervision Experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of quality processes and implementation methods
• Knowledge of electricity, electrical products, raw materials, and manufacturing processes; battery experience preferred
• Minimum +3 years’ industrial experience with supervisory responsibilities
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance for plant safety and environmental regulations
• Support Team Members and coordinate activities of employees engaged in production
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules and reports to determine requirements
• Collaborate with leaders to coordinate operations
• Plan and establish work schedules and production sequences
• Train team to inspect materials and equipment for defects
• Support and facilitate team-based problem solving
• Monitor KPIs and equipment performance to meet standards
• Discuss workforce concerns and engagement with leadership
• Interpret specifications and drawings for workers
• Perform additional duties as assigned
