Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC in Warren, OH seeks a Production Engineer for Cell Assembly on the night shift. After a 6-month day-shift training, you will work 11 PM–8 AM, five days a week, onsite in the Cell Assembly Department.

You will lead continuous improvement, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with internal/external teams to drive yield and productivity. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 0–3+ years in manufacturing or CI, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement or manufacturing in a highly automated environment.
• Experience with English reading and speaking required.
• Knowledge of PFMEAs, process controls, and line balancing is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production and quality goals are achieved through teamwork and clear communication.
• Train and develop Operators for success in team goals and future opportunities.
• Evaluate and update the production schedule and oversee quality control.
• Identify controllable failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance and facility teams to reduce downtime.
• Analyze costs and optimize production processes to maximize yield.
