Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Sparks, NV. You will lead a multi-discipline maintenance team, coordinate preventive maintenance, and drive safety, quality, and cost initiatives in a high-volume facility.

You will mentor staff, manage shifts, and implement continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and 6S, with a focus on safe, efficient operations onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering/operations/business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in progressive manufacturing/operations with people management in high-volume environment.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and reading blueprints; CAD experience.
• Strong safety and continuous improvement mindset; able to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and direct maintenance members to ensure targets are met.
• Hire, train, develop, and motivate team; drive continuous improvement and lean practices.
• Ensure production staff are trained and certified for tasks.
• Manage overtime scheduling and reduce overtime where possible.
• Lead regular improvement team meetings and communicate manufacturing metrics.
• Monitor safety rules and 6S, ergonomics, and regulatory compliance.
